Name: Charodei
Age: 17
Living in: Spain
Pronouns: Zoi/He
My name is Charodei. I'm from Spain and I'm 17, my birthday is on April the 26th. I'm a transmasc and dog-gender alterhuman. I have a big special interest in sighthounds, and I also love fiber arts such as sewing and crocheting.
I enjoy nostalgic photographs, whimsical and/or vintage aesthetics, folk tales and learning about things. I started coding as a hobby in 2025. Until then, my only experience with HTML and CSS was from coding on Toyhouse, which is what introduced me to web design. I was very scared to start coding a site at first, but with a lot of tutorials and help from friends it became a very enjoyable activity!
My biggest goal in life is to own a dog!
I identify in a psychological, symbolic and religious way as one of these dogs, they're incredibly special to me. Borzois have been my favorite breed since I first saw their name in a book about dogs when I was little. They're like magical creatures.
My connection to this breed is psychological and religious. My past self speaks to me through dreams and protects me in some way. The taigan's origin is unclear but it's related to most central asian sighthounds, most closely to the Kazakh Tazy. They're very well adapted to living in extreme weather and high altitudes, and have a very well developed sense of smell, which they use for hunting instead of sight.
I don't know, I just see myself in them. They're one of the oldest breeds in this world, with many variants depending on where you go. I especially feel connected to the traditional type of this breed, the one that you'd find on its country of origin. In the west, the afghan hound has changed a lot.
This is another ancient breed from the Shanxi province in China. It is known for its roman head that gives it a very unique appearance. Just like the afghan hound, I don't really have a spiritual link to this breed, I just think that my soul is one in some way.
I've been drawing since I can remember. I don't know exactly when I started taking it seriously, but when I was somewhere around 7-8 years old I started making small comics while wishing to become a professional artist in the future. Ever since I made lots of characters, but not as many comics. I should get back to making silly stories like those.
Throughout my life I've had many special interests. The first heavy interest that I can remember having was the human skeleton. Then it was dinosaurs, then space, then foxes, then aviation, and now I can only think about sighthounds. They're everything to me! I'm currently writing a small "journal" about all sighthound breeds with a bit of information on each, along with drawings, observations, history, and any new information that I find.
Since last year I've been going to sewing classes. I do patchwork and make plushies, sometimes even clothes! Crochet is really fun too, but I struggle to finish what I start.
I love antique and vintage things, any object can be beautiful if you decorate it! Maximalism and whimsy are my favorite styles in both clothing, interiors and decoration. I think old things have such a special charm to them, and I wish more modern things had kept that. I miss a time that I only lived in through the first few years of my life, so I hold onto the oldest memories that I can remember, I find the past really comforting.
Music is a huge part of my life. I listen to whatever I find cool, I don't have a specific favorite genre. The artists I've been listening to the most lately are Tino Casal, Vashti Bunyan, Alex G and Talking Heads! I have an MP3 player that I bring everywhere to listen to my favorite songs.
