BACKGROUND
Belek spent his early childhood in a small village in the mountains. Both of his parents died when he was young, and Belek was taken to live in a big city in the USSR. He ran away from home several times, trying to return to the mountains that he longed for, but eventually he gave up and stayed on the city for the rest of his teen years.
PERSONALITY
He is a dog with a spiky personality. He's reckless and sometimes arrogant, to cover up his tremendous insecurities. After his life started going downhill, he began developing a tough "shell" to try being like everyone else around him. Under this façade, he's really vulnerable and yearns for affection. However, he's gotten so used to being someone else that he can no longer find his true self.
DESIGN
Belek is an anthro taigan with thick and spiky fur. His coat is black and white and it's longer on the arms, legs and head. On his head, the ear feathering merges with the hair creating a cool hairstyle. His eyes are yellow, and his tail is curled. He wears bandages on the arms and a livestock guardian collar on the neck. This collar is actually a metaphor that only Belek can see. He's usually seen with a cigarette on the mouth.
